Our Impact
At Sunara, we are committed to positively impacting society and the environment. As part of our commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices, we donate 20% of our profits to support stay home Mothers and wives who cannot get capital to start up a little business for income. We also support the education of vulnerable children in rural communities of Uganda through our partnership with Humanity for Good, a community-based organization working in the district of Lyantonde in Uganda.
Through our partnership with Humanity for Good, we help to provide school requirements and fees for children who may not otherwise have access to education. This allows them to stay in school and achieve their full potential, which can help to break the cycle of poverty in their families and communities.
In addition to our social impact, we are also committed to environmental sustainability. We use recycled rubber in our shoes, which helps to reduce waste and minimize our ecological footprint. We also source our materials locally in Africa, which helps to support local communities and reduce our carbon emissions from transportation.
As we continue to grow, we are committed to finding new ways to minimize our environmental impact and support social causes that align with our values. We believe that every business has a responsibility to contribute to the betterment of society and the environment, and we are proud to be doing our part to make a positive difference.
